The course works the same way for your existing staff you want to cross train. The didactic teaches what someone new to imaging needs to know. The clinical component takes longer when the RT is training a beginner instead of documenting an experienced operator’s existing skills.

Current Limited Scope X-ray Operators
Many of the clinics calling us have staff who’ve been taking x-rays for years. Many clinics that call us have staff who’ve taken x-rays for years without a formal education requirement. Rule 5212 changes that, requiring education on file by March 2027. Our didactic covers the knowledge the rule requires, while the clinical hours, supervised by your RT on site, document skills your team already uses, no off-site program required.
Upskill Staff
Same course, same path. The didactic course teaches a beginner the fundamentals, the clinical component takes longer, since your RT is training a new operator rather than signing off on an experienced one.
